MEMBERSHIP TERMS
Membership and Subscription Terms
Last updated: October 6, 2026
These English provisions correspond to the Chinese terms. If wording differs, neither version removes rights that applicable law makes mandatory.
These terms apply only after live paid membership opens. The two current plans provide the same paid-reading access; monthly versus annual describes the billing cycle, not a different benefits package. Tools, book chapters, quarterly reports, special-event reports, and one-to-one consulting are not included unless expressly listed at purchase. Nonmembers may continue to access public content and previews.
The base prices are USD 8.99 per month and USD 88 per year. If WeCross activates the approved 2026 promotion before its December 31, 2026 end in New York time, eligible monthly invoices in 2026 are USD 4.99, then USD 8.99 from the first 2027 renewal; an eligible annual first year is USD 68 after a one-time USD 20 discount, then USD 88 at the next annual renewal. A promotion is not promised merely because it is described here. The Stripe confirmation page controls the amount due today, applicable taxes, future amount, and renewal date; review it before confirming. There is no free trial that automatically becomes paid.
Once purchased, a subscription renews on the selected monthly or annual cycle until canceled. Stripe processes payment and may retain the payment method for renewal; WeCross does not store full card numbers or CVV. Applicable taxes, if required, will be shown at checkout. We will give legally required notice or obtain consent for material price or term changes.
An upgrade from monthly to annual takes effect once you confirm and pay. Stripe shows the credit for the unused portion of the current monthly period and any eligible annual promotion on its confirmation page. To change from annual to monthly, contact Service@WeCross.US; we will schedule the change for the end of the current paid annual term, with annual access continuing until then. You may stop the next automatic renewal online through the Stripe subscription-management link on the member page or ask Service@WeCross.US for help. A normal cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; marketing-email opt-out is separate from subscription cancellation.
An unsuccessful initial payment does not grant paid access. A checkout that completes without any payment (for example, an amount due of zero) does not grant access automatically; we will review it and contact you. After a failed renewal payment, the service currently plans a reading grace period of up to three days to update the payment method; access then pauses if payment remains unresolved. Paid fees generally are not refunded for unused time, subject to mandatory legal rights and discretionary exceptions. Send refund requests to Service@WeCross.US without supplying a full card number. After a confirmed full refund of a membership payment, or a final lost payment dispute, member access under the associated subscription ends immediately and that subscription is canceled, so it will not renew. A partial refund does not automatically end an otherwise valid subscription.
Account verification, password reset, and billing notices are service emails. Marketing or editorial newsletters, when launched, will have an opt-out route; opting out does not stop essential service notices. The member newsletter and new-article notices contain summaries and links back to the site, not the full paid text in email; each email includes a way to stop receiving the newsletter.
